Frequently Asked Questions

I don't see a Collection that exactly fits my needs, are those three Collections my only option?
No, please contact me directly to help create your individualized Collection if one of the three offered, don't fit your needs perfectly.

How far in advance do I need to book with you?
I always recommend that couples book their photographer AT LEAST 12-18 months in advance (if possible). In Wisconsin, outdoor weddings have a limited window/season (May-October). Therefore, in order to ensure your top photographer has your date available, you will want to book as far in advance as possible. While 12-18 months in advance seems like a lengthy period of time, it's relatively short in relation to wedding planning. Be safe, not sorry, and contact your photographer as soon as you have a date nailed down.

I'm located outside of Oshkosh, WI.  How far outside of Oshkosh do you travel and is there any cost associated with that?
While, HAESE Photography is located in Oshkosh, WI, I have traveled ALL OVER the State of Wisconsin for weddings. There is a travel fee associated with weddings located 60 miles outside of Oshkosh, WI

Is there a deposit required to book you/reserve our date?
Yes, depending on the Collection purchased, a $500.00-$1,500.00 deposit is required to book me and reserve your date. The remainder of your balance (determined by the Collection you choose/a la carte items) will be due ~45 days prior to your wedding day.

If my event lasts longer than expected, will you stay? Is there an additional charge?
Barring any unforeseen circumstances, I will stay late if your event runs longer than expected. Under my a la care items in the investment page, I have outlined that additional hours of coverage are charged at a rate of $250.00 per/hour. Please remember that $250.00 hourly rate takes into consideration the length of time to shoot an additional hour of coverage and the additional hours of coverage that go into editing those additional images.

Can I give you a list of specific shots I want/like?
Absolutely! However, I am a very detailed individual, and will be going over several aspects of your wedding day/what shots are important to you, well in advance of your wedding day. If you think of something that is unique, that we haven't yet discussed, please don't hesitate to let me know and I will ensure that those special details are captured for you.

How important are engagement photos?
Very! Not only do several couples use their engagement photos for their "save-the-dates," but engagement sessions serve an even more important function... allowing you and your photographer to get acquainted BEFORE your wedding day. For most people, being photographed can be an uncomfortable thing. I encourage my clients to have an engagement session done to experience my laid-back, unobtrusive style to photography.

Do you provide re-touching, coloring or other corrective services?
Yes, all of the images I provide to you will be high resolution and professionally edited.  Editing your wedding day photos is the time consuming aspect of photography, as one hour of coverage often takes several hours to edit. I utilize photoshop CS6 for all re-touching, coloring, and other minor corrective services.

How will I get my pictures?
Say goodbye to outdated CDs and USB drives. I provide all images via a downloadable online viewing gallery. The amazing thing about this delivery method, is that with the personalized pin # I provide you, you can download all your images directly onto your computer! There is no limit on who you choose to share the link/pin # with or how many times your images are downloaded. Not only is this fast and reliable, but takes a big burden off of you in dispersing your photos to family and friends.

How long after my wedding will I receive my pictures?
Portrait/family session - typically a 1-2 week turn around time
Engagement session - typically a 2-3 week turn around time
Wedding day - typically 3-5 week turn around time (based off of how many hours of coverage and if wedding is in peak versus non-peak season)
